SOIL: Volcanic, rich in iron and potassium
COLOR: Garnet red, transparent and clear.
NOSE: A magnificent expression of the Etna terroir; fine, intense, and complex. It offers a continuous evolution of mineral, flinty, and balsamic notes, combined with candied citrus and red fruits preserved in spirit. Nuances of sweet spices, milk chocolate, tobacco, and licorice emerge on the finish.
TASTE: Dry, warm, and perfectly balanced; intense and persistent, showing a mature and harmonious character. Features fine, chiseled tannins and a sapid, savory finish with returning citrus notes.
Alcohol Content: 14% vol
Tech Sheet

Vinification: Gentle pressing of the berries; maceration on the skins and fermentation with selected yeasts in horizontal rotating stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days at controlled temperatures of 22–24 °C (72–75 °F).
Maturation and Aging: 4 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by at least 60 months (5 years) in large Slavonian oak barrels, and a further 60 months of refinement in the bottle.
